Dutch Salad

Directions:

Drain the peas, beans, corn, and pimentos. In a large bowl, combine these with the chopped celery, onions, and green peppers. In a separate bowl, mix the oil, vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Combine this liquid mixture with the vegetable and mix well. Serve chilled. (Serves 8)

Ingredients:

  • 16-ounce can tiny peas
  • 16-ounce can French cut green beans
  • 16-ounce can white corn
  • 1 small jar chopped pimentos
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water
