DOUGH (NOT!) HOLES FAT-FREE DONUT MIX by Dixie Diner A much healthier approach to tasty donuts! These fat-free baked donut holes are made with organic flours (including some whole wheat) and soy protein too. Just add water, mix, and bake on a cookie sheet. Makes 36. IMPORTANT NOTE: The directions on the package are incorrect. The dough should be formed into 1-inch balls, not 2-inch balls. (They will expand somewhat when baking.) For best results, place them on a cookie sheet for baking; don't use muffin tins. Upon completion, dampen each donut with a wet cloth before rolling it in the granulated coating. Allow the donuts to cool to room temperature and store them in an air-tight container.
